14k solid gold

Gold jewelry will never go out of fashion and for this there is a considerable reason: gold isn’t beautiful on itself, but with it fairy images change us. More than that, it gives us a piece of irresistible charm.

Natural gold doesn’t enter in reaction with other substances, doesn’t rust and dull as opposed to other metals which oxidize at the touch of skin. Some people suffer from allergy of metals, which are combined with gold, but proper gold rarely invokes allergy.

One of many qualities of gold is that its master can give it practically any forms. They can give it from of thin chain (which is very hard to disrupt) or very thin gold plate.

How do you determinate the quality of gold jewelries?

On international market, to determinate the qualities of gold it is used the carat system. This system has 24 unities. For example: god trial of 14k means that 24 unities of alloy is contained 14 unities of gold. In carat system are accepted trials like: 10k, 12k, 14k, 18k, and 24k.

The bigger it is, the bigger it is the percentages of gold content in your gold jewelries.

24k Gold- this is solid gold.

18k Gold – contain 18 parts of gold and 6 parts of one or many supplementary metals. That corresponds with 75% of gold.

14k Gold – contain 14 parts of gold and 10 parts of one or many supplementary metals. That corresponds with 58,3% of gold.

12k Gold contain 12 parts of gold and 12 parts of one or many supplementary metals. That corresponds with 505 of gold.

10k Gold contain 10 parts of gold and 14 parts of one or many supplementary metals. That corresponds with 41,7% of gold.

European Marking

In Europe for determination of gold qualities it is used a familiar for all people concept “trial”. This is quality of gold which is contained in 1000 parts of composition. On all jewelries there is a special identification mark which helps us to determine which part of composition contain gold itself.

18k Gold correspond to 750 standard (75% of gold)

14k Gold correspond to 585 standard (58,5 of gold)

10k Gold correspond to 417 standard (41,7 of gold)

Other markings for gold jewelries

Usual, all gold jewelries contain marks or company signs of jewelries producers. In some case also are indicated country where was produced this jewelry.

What you should buy?

Jewelries from 14k solid gold are differentiated by high-strength and permit to carry them day by day.  If you suffer from allergy to nickel or other metals you should choose jewelries with high containment of gold, for example jewelry of 14k solid gold or 18k solid gold.

If you want to carry 14k solid gold all your life you should buy it at jewelry gold shop. More than that, you should buy it from the best solid gold.

Your wardrobe of gold bijouterie

You should choose gold bijouterie the same way that you choose clothes. Most of the time, you should start with quality base. After that you can add various parts. Basis for your gold wardrobe should be gold chain, gold ring, gold earrings of classical form and gold bracelet. Supplementary for them can be gold mobile pendant, a pair of earrings on elongated member.

You should start with gold products of classical form, which better are combined with each other. After that you can add products with the same method of surface treatment, for example, blind or glossy, or with 2-3 approached gold nuances.

Care of gold bijouterie

Remember, in spite of durability and longevity of gold, we can slightly scratch it or do a dent in the gold product, if you don’t take care about it.

The worst enemy of gold is chlorine. A permanent contact with substances than contain chlorine, can impair gold structure and as a result it can lead to breakage of gold. You should keep your bijouterie far away from chlorine substances and also away from basins and Jacuzzis. You should keep your gold bijouterie in soft tissues.
